 What is the Course?

It is a 4-week intensive course to help prepare Year 5 students for the 11+ Grammar School entrance exams this    September (West Midlands Consortium).

Weekly Lesson Timing

We will be running only ONE session per day.

                Sessions 1 to 4                           4 pm to 6 pm (2 Hours)

                Session 5: Mock Exam             4 pm to 7 pm (3 Hours)

Course Format

Each week will be made up of four sessions of learning followed by a mock exam test in the fifth session.

Learning

The learning sessions will be 2 hours in duration with a 5-minute break after the 1st hour.  This will help keep their minds fresh and sharp. Each lesson will be structured with specific learning objectives, practice tasks and assessment.  Each will be dedicated to a subject, with all 3 being covered over the week (Verbal, Non-Verbal Reasoning & Numerical Reasoning).

Mock Test

The 3-hour Mock Test Session will incorporate a 90-minute Mock Exam followed by a 90-minute review of each question &  an explanation of how the student should have arrived at the correct answer.
